8 ball frenzy : The object of the game is to pocket the 8-ball into the nominated pocket, after pocketing all seven balls from your designated group. The game is played with a cue ball and fifteen object balls racked in a triangle, consisting of seven solid balls, seven striped balls, and the 8-ball. Players stay at the table until a ball is not pocketed, or a foul is made. The player who legally pockets the 8-ball wins.
A coin is tossed to determine who breaks. The table is 'open' after a break shot, irrespective of what balls may have been pocketed (except the 8-ball). During this time, players may shoot for either solids or stripes, and the table remains open until one or more balls of just one group are pocketed during a turn. If the 8-ball is pocketed on the break shot, then the game is restarted and the other player is requested to break. If the cue ball is pocketed during play, it is replaced on the table and can be positioned anywhere behind the headstring by the incoming player. Following a foul, the incoming player receives a 'free shot', unless the 8-ball is in play
